    that should only show up if your computer computes chinese.... which i guess it does! I was testing it out because sometimes i guess... i anticipate that we might have to encounter technical terms in chinese. ok either way that means "Mao Tse Tung Chairman"...or chairman mao tse tung.

    Mine computes Chinese too. Wicked. Can we set a timeline within which to read the starting piece? And I assume we'll handle the conversation via posting at our own respective places and conversing w/ each other via comments, is that what you two are thinking?

    there's a lot of commenting on the blog itself -that's what i'll weigh in on:

    I think we should post responses as entries here -and comment on our own and other responses. We'll say -let's get out entries in within 2 weeks time -then select another piece, our next "great leap." of course we can direct readers from our own blogs to this one "hey i've written something here" etc.

    I'll write some analysis fairly soon.
